Rebecca Sanchez is a literary fiction writer known for her lyrical prose and exploration of complex human emotions. Born in New York City in 1983, Sanchez grew up in a multicultural household that fostered her love of storytelling. After graduating from Barnard College with a degree in English, she worked as a freelance writer before publishing her first novel, "The Weight of the World," in 2012. Sanchez has since published two more critically acclaimed books, "The Light Within" and "The Fragility of Life." She is a recipient of the National Book Award and the MacArthur Genius Grant. When she's not writing, Lee enjoys practicing yoga and traveling.
